The APLN Maryland Group Kickoff meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2007. Registration/Reception 6:00 pm. Meeting 7:00 'til 9:00. The meeting location wass at PHH Arval, Hunt Valley, 940 Ridgebrook Road, in meeting room 1 East F.
Sanjiv Augustine was our first speaker. Sanjiv Augustine is the Managing Director, Lean-Agile Consulting Practice at CC Pace, and an industry-leading agile and lean expert. He is a co-founder and board member of the Agile Project Leadership Network (APLN). He is also the author of several publications and the book Managing Agile Projects ( 0131240714 ), and the founder and moderator of the Yahoo! Agile Project Management discussion group. Sanjiv presented on 'Transitioning to Agile Project Management', but as there was quite a bit of Agile experience in the room, he treated it as an open conversation rather than a lecture.
